Since the initial NBA Draft Lottery in 1985, the Knicks have been in 15 lotteries. They’ve moved up just once in that span: in 1985, when they won the Lottery. (NYK traded 7 of these picks pre or post Lottery; current lottery rules have been in place, essentially, since 1996).
David Fizdale says he wants to establish a “fast”, “disruptive”, “versatile”, “loud”, “top-ranked defense” that creates transition opportunities for NYK. In half-court offense, Fizdale wants play “a really free-flowing, open-space offense that has everybody getting involved.”
With a win vs. Miami tomorrow, the @Raptors would be a 60-win team. They're the only NBA team ranked in the top 5 both offensively and defensively; they have the NBA's 3rd-best offense (111.1 points per 100 possessions) and the 5th-best defense (103.3 points per 100 possessions).
Spoiler 🚨 Kings entering the fourth quarter with a 66-60 lead at playoff aspiring Spurs. Kings big man Jack Cooley lays the wood on people during fouls. Last NBA player I saw foul that hard was Steve Scheffler.
